Tracey Thompson
President & Executive Director
Tracey Thompson is the Executive Director and President of Redeemed Women Gathering. She became a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ as an adult and has dedicated her life from that point forward to the teaching of God’s Word. Tracey has a long background as a professional dancer and choreographer. She was last with Ballet Magnificat! She was the founding director of Magnificat! Youth Ballet and worked in the Professional Training Division as the Trainee I Company Rehearsal Director, teaching the Discipleship II Bible study, and choreographed the first full-length ballet for The School of the Arts. She and her husband Kevin own and operate The Trace Grill in Ridgeland, MS along with one of their sons.
They are blessed to have three sons, one daughter-in-law, and three precious grandchildren. Tracey has degrees from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College (Associate of Arts in Elementary Education, 1999), Belhaven University (Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies, 2013), and Reformed Theological Seminary (Master of Arts in Biblical Studies and Biblical Languages, 2016). Tracey is now serving at Madison Methodist by teaching adult Sunday school, and the Redeemed women’s Bible study. She also serves on the Board of Directors at Crossroads Ministries Outreach where she has taught Bible study. Tracey is ordained in the Global Methodist Church as a supply pastor and is presently pursuing a Doctorate of Ministry at Wesley Biblical Seminary. Tracey has a passion for teaching the Word of God so that all will know the truth and have it engraved upon their hearts. It is this passion that led her to establish Redeemed Women Gathering.
Donna Lyon
Vice President
Donna Lyon is the founder and president of Lyon & Company, a small medical transcription service for hospitals, surgery centers, and clinics. For over 25 years, she has provided on-the-job training and home-based work opportunities for women (and a few men) from almost every state in the US. She lives in Madison, Mississippi, with her husband Ken, daughter Rachel, and rescue pup Daisy. She has led ladies' Bible study for years but now attends Madison Methodist Church and enjoys studying with the Redeemed Women's Bible study. She attended Mississippi University for Women and holds degrees in English and Biblical Studies from Belhaven University. Her passions are Bible study, reading, knitting and crocheting, and all things musical. She is both humbled and grateful to be a part of the Kingdom of God and thankful to be serving with the Redeemed Women Gathering.
Karsen Dillard
Secretary Treasurer & Executive Assistant
Karsen Dillard was born in Brandon, Mississippi, and was homeschooled by her parents until her high school graduation in 2012. She accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior at age 11, started ballet classes at age 12, and fell instantly in love with all styles of dance as a form of worship and self-expression. She danced at Ballet Magnificat’s School of the Arts throughout middle school and high school age, where she trained under Sol Maisonet and Tracey Thompson. Upon graduation, she continued a dance mentee relationship with Sol and strengthened her dance career. In 2014 she moved to Dallas, Texas to join Ingredients Dance Company as a trainee and toured nationally with Dance Revolution sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ through the medium of dance movement. After this season she moved back home to Jackson and joined Intersect Dance Collective under the artistic leadership of Andy and Alli Leatherman. While she was with Intersect she taught multiple dance genres at Xpress Dance Company in Madison and Brandon, MS. After her dance season came to a close she felt the Lord moving her into a season of theological education and gained a certificate in Missions Studies from Gateway Seminary. In 2017 she met Chris Dillard, the love of her life, whom she married in December 2021. Karsen is an events specialist for Marriott International. Chris and Karsen reside in Justin, TX, and attend Cross Timbers Church in Argyle, TX.
Sonya Clark
Board Member
Sonya Clark studied at McKenzie College and Chattanooga State Technical College in Chattanooga, TN, where she studied Accounting and Business Management. She is currently employed with Motion Industries. She and her husband have been business owners in the past but now focus on serving in ministry. Sonya has over 30 years of experience concentrated in the field of finance. She has been married to Rev. David Michael Clark for 27 years. They have 4 children and 5 grandchildren. They currently minister at Faith Baptist Church in Parrish, AL. They have worked alongside several ministries and churches in teaching and serving. She and her husband enjoy their time with family and traveling.
Dee Howard
Board Member
Dee Howard was born in Amory, MS, and moved to Jackson at age 8. She attended MS State University studying pre-nursing 1975-77 and was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from UMMC School of Nursing, is a member of Phi Kappa Phi and Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society, and is a Charter Member/Officer, at the University of Mississippi. She is retired from the University of MS Medical Center in Jackson MS after a 32-year career including staff nursing in critical care, flight team, and Emergency Department from 1979-1988 and Clinical Instructor and American Heart Association Training Center Coordinator in the UMMC School of Medicine from 1988-2011 teaching advanced and basic cardiac life support courses at the UMMC School of Medicine. Dee worked as a Clinical Instructor, Course Director Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and REdI (Resuscitation Education Initiative) Program Director at G. V. Sonny Montgomery VA Medical Center, Jackson, MS after retirement from UMMC from 2011-2018. She has served as Executive Director of MS Healthcare Alliance, Inc. since 2012. Dee is married to Seth,
has two adult children, and became grandparents to a baby boy in May 2022. They are members of Madison Methodist Church where Dee attends the Redeemed Bible study.
Sol Maisonet
Board Member
Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Sol began professional training in classical ballet and has danced professionally for more than 25 years. She has been a ballet teacher for more than 40 years. In 2001 she came to Mississippi to join Ballet Magnificat where she still serves. From 2011 to 2016, she served as adjunct Dance Faculty for Belhaven University and was the Dance Ministry Ensemble Co-Artistic Director as well. Sol is currently the Ballet Mistress for Ballet Magnificat! Company and School of the Arts and is the Rehearsal Director for the Events Company and Master Teacher for all Trainee Companies. Sol has three grown sons and one grandson. She is a member of Colonial Heights Baptist Church where she sings in the choir.
Carol Jones
Board Member
Carol spent 40 years as a public relations professional and is the owner of Carol Jones Communications. She loves Jesus, her family, and studying His Word. A native of Baton Rouge, she and her family moved to Jackson in 1961. She is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a BA in Communication. Since her days at MS State she has been committed to discipling college, high school, and career women. She was single until age 43 when God brought a godly, loving man, a widower with two wonderful children into her life. They remain three of His greatest blessings. She and Bob have seen their family grow to include a daughter-in-law, a son-in-law, and five grandchildren. They live in Brandon and are members of Crossgates Baptist Church. She leads a Precept Bible Study, co-teaches a young adult Life Group, and volunteers in other areas of the church. Her life verse is Galatians 2:20, "I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me."
Kaitlin Godfrey
Board Member
Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Kaitlin attended Mississippi State University to pursue a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing and Public Relations. She is a Chi Omega Fraternity alumna. After staying home to raise her children for 11 years, Kaitlin is now the Director of Development at Wesley Biblical Seminary in Ridgeland, MS. She serves on the Ferguson Family Charitable Foundation board and is on the Women’s Ministry Team for Madison Methodist Church in Madison, MS. She is also a diplomat for the City of Ridgeland Chamber of Commerce.
While attending college, Kaitlin met her husband, Brad. Together they have three children and reside in Madison, Mississippi.
Carrie Ainsworth
Board Member
Carrie was born in Meridian, Mississippi, and graduated from Millsaps College with a Master's in Accounting in 2000. Upon obtaining her CPA license, she worked in public accounting as well as industry for over 20 years. Currently, Carrie works on a contract basis for several oil and gas operators in the Jackson, MS area. She worships at Madison Methodist Church in Madison, MS, attends the Redeemed Bible Study, and is a small group leader in the youth program and a member of the Abundant Joy Sunday School Class. Carrie is married to Mike Ainsworth and they have two children, Alexa and Sanders. In her spare time, Carrie enjoys women’s bible studies, playing tennis and watching her son play baseball.
